Endless Passage
There is an old man walking forward forever
The road is only a one way
A small and narrow lonely lane
Far away on the way, the lane curves to the left
This old man thinks the lane is only straight
Just marching straight forward
As if he has a mission but in reality he doesn’t any
He only marches forward
Yesterday, today, undoubtedly tomorrow
This old man marches forward
He doesn’t need a walking stick
He has been walking for many dozen years
Not very far away, the lane curves to the left
This old man doesn’t even think about it
Pretending this is a straight lane forever
Marching straight ahead and only forward
This not returning road allows only going forward
This old man doesn’t have any purpose
Just marching forward
Others scorn and blame
Moving without purpose is a useless endeavor
However, indifferent it is to him
He doesn’t care and mindlessly
Marching forward forever
Not very far away on the way
The lane curves to the left
This old man doesn’t need to know
This long tireless walk costs him ages
Despite many thousands of miles he has made
He is not very far from the beginning
Nevertheless, he continuously walks
Aimlessly, peacefully, happily
