Deep Appreciation to My Feet

If hands are arrogant paddle
You are the body of canoe
No matter how efficient the paddle is
The paddle cannot shine
In the absence of the canoe

Have I ever paid my appreciation
To you, my dearest
Even when you were hopelessly tired
No one was around to lend you a help
No complaint ever coming from you

In a cold winter morning
Piercing wind got into your numb nerve
Instead of hiding behind a warm blanket
You came along to satisfy my stubborn desire
To dash into the rocky hill top

In a humid and hot summer evening
All parts of my body got a cold treatment
Nobody rescued you from stinky and smelly socks
However, you never complain
As if it is your fate to tolerate the worst

Now, I am looking at your tired but strong feature
Acknowledgements for the kind service
Are never in your kind heart
You are ready to take this old body
To a faraway peace land forever
