On this very joyous and memorable day, Mom and I are so happy to see you joining with Rhett to make a happy family of your own. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to you and Rhett.
It brings us back in time to Australia where you were born in 1973. It was so special that your Grandma came over all the way from Korea to greet and welcome you to this world. May in down-under is autumn which is undoubtedly the prettiest season of all because of versatile fall colors and unforgettable scent lingering in the air welcoming the season for harvest.
You have brought us the best time of ours in our happy journey in this world. You were a so beautiful baby and special to us, to the Han family. You have given us overflowing excitement, fond memories, and always joy and happiness. You were an extraordinary child as growing up, and a model student when you were in the kindergarten in Australia, in the schools in Rapid City, also in the University of Minnesota, and of course, in University of Washington where you successfully obtained your MPA degree.
We remember that upon graduation from the University of Minnesota you chose the consulting company over the high paid private chemical company simply because you would like to help others in your special way. We have been so proud that you have always overcome difficulties and challenges that you faced at the beginning of a project. We have never had any doubt that you would come out with a shining, exemplified triumph from the project even under the most adverse circumstances due to your hard work, patience, and innovative people skills. We strongly believe that your patience and compassionate mind will guide you to the best course in life.
The moment when you introduced Rhett to us, we knew he was the right man with whom my daughter will make a happy family. We immediately knew that Rhett is a special person who is not only loving, committed, industrious, and luminous, but also a fun person to be with.
Marriage represents the Love between you two and we have confidence and high expectation in your happy sailing through the combined life with patience, understanding and love. We trust that the love you share with Rhett will always protect and persevere from adversary circumstances in life. We understand that happiness is not given by anyone nor created by the environment you are in but is what you together make, and you have the wisdom, desire, and sensitivity to carry out the best course needed to achieve and sustain it.
Now, on this momentous day, Mom and I would like to express our sincere congratulations and blessing to you both and extend our best wishes to your long and happy journey together fulfilling your happy dreams.
