In the evening of a deep Fall sky,
No clouds insight
An eight year old Grandson and
His Grandpa approaching 70
Hands in hands, they stroll along
The ridges of the routine walk

After a long and tiring day
The powerless red Sun
Preparing the night sleep over the hills
Grandpa feels nostalgic about the past
Hopeful future with excitement
Grandson is waiting for

Grandpa, is Heaven inside the sky?
Grandpa is hesitant with silence
It's Ok, Grandpa, I understand
Kind and understanding heart
Grandson gently holds the Grandpa's hand
Continues the journey
